I have seen many photos from friends about the Rattlesnake Ledge and just been amazed on how beautiful it is. Fortunate enough I had a chance to visit the place on a nice day. It was one of a few times in a year that I got chance to go out and be close to nature. We started our day early to avoid the heat and potential crowd. The drive was pretty pleasant with light traffic and beautiful scenery.
After an hour of hiking we reached the East Peak. And swear to God that it was worth every effort we made. The view was stunning. We are very fortunate for how amazing landscape that the Northwest has to offer. It is just magnificent. We took a light lunch in a breeze shade while enjoying the view. The day was cool and getting warmer at noon, which made the hike even more pleasant. It was the first hike ever for grandma and me, and we absolutely love it.
