It's Sunday... no, it's a beautiful Sunday. There are ton of sunshine and cool air. Like all the residents of Northwest, we adore summer and take every possible moment to be outside before fall comes and winter brings all the gloomy days to town.
While working on the last batch of pictures for wedding reception of Patrick and Makara, I think it would be nice to make a random post on whatever interesting on my days in life. I set a goal for this blog that is to help you get to know me in both professional and personal ways... to help me share not just my photography skills and my works but also my personal interests and my favorite things in life. So, when it comes to time for me to work with you, fortunately you will know in certain about my style and my points of view. Far more important that you will be confident to say that "Yes, he is my type."
And to make this post more fun, I throw in some snapshots that I took at downtown to Tacoma from yesterday.
For this picture of KM, I placed her next to the bright wood wall to use it as a natural reflector to warmly bright her up. It is a common problem to have the object be under exposure and appear dark or dull when taking pictures in the shade. The picture of her phone and bag was taken by chance when I helped her pick up stuffs on the grass and found out it would be a nice and interesting detail shot. Did I tell you that I love detail shots? They are really the key to help you tell the story to viewers.
The picture below once again proves that I am not photogenic at all. So, I rather to be behind the camera than being in font of it.
I really wish that I would have had a wide angle lens to make this shot much more impressive because the view itself was really majestic.
